Hot Air Balloon Festival

A great festival to celebrate this beautiful invention in the city of inventors (Annonay)! The park of Déomas will host the festivities.

In the continuity of the Art of Flight, the Hot Air Balloon Festival will honour the hot air balloon, invented in Annonay by the brothers Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier on 4 June 1783. Visitors will be able to take advantage of several areas throughout the three days of the festival centred around the hot-air balloon: hot-air balloon village, funfair, Eole meadow, musical stage, concerts, Night glow show (sound and light of hot-air balloons), street theatre and circus performances, animated picnic and many other activities that will delight young and old.
