Domaine de Pimotin

Driven by the same passion and already partners in life, we decided to take the plunge together in 2021—after 20 years of working as employees—to establish a winery: Domaine Pimotin.

The desire to rediscover meaning in our professional lives and to reconnect with the land—sharing and passion will be our guiding principles. The adventure began in 2021 with the planting of 2 hectares of IGP vineyards featuring the Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Syrah grape varieties. Our goal is to respect nature and the terroir as much as possible. We earned HVE3 certification in 2022. Then, in 2023, we renovated and built our winery on the land of my grandfather, Lucien David, in Tupin-et-Semons. We settled in Tupin-et-Semons with our children, and our project came to fruition with our first harvest in September 2023. Friends and family contributed immensely to this important milestone. Our estate will expand in 2025 with the acquisition of a family-owned plot in Côte-Rôtie. These plots were planted by my grandfather in the 1970s, and it is with great pleasure that we will tend to this land once again.
